Quality of life for nearby residents is one of our site-selection criteria from the start, not something we address after a location is already chosen. Noise problems at other facilities typically trace back to two decisions: building too close to homes, and selecting equipment without noise controls designed in from the beginning. We treat both as choices to get right up front.

Our Approach to Siting & Noise

Before committing to any site, we evaluate its distance and orientation relative to nearby homes, and we design in noise mitigation — equipment selection, placement, and physical buffers — as part of the original engineering plan, not as something added later in response to complaints. We commission independent, third-party acoustic assessments to model expected noise levels before construction begins, not after residents start noticing something.
