Steve Veale is a seasoned energy industry professional with extensive experience in nuclear power project management and development. With a career spanning several decades, Steve has held leadership roles in the successful delivery of nuclear new build projects across North America, Western Europe, and Asia. His expertise encompasses all aspects of nuclear power project management, from strategic planning and delivery to execution, risk management, and regulatory compliance.

As Vice President and Project Director, Steve has overseen a number of high-profile Nuclear New Build Projects in both North America and Western Europe, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest safety standards. In addition to his role as Project Director, Steve served as Senior Project Manager for several nuclear EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects in the U.S., where he played a critical role in managing large, complex projects from conception through commissioning.

Steve has also worked as a Project Management and Delivery Strategy Advisor on new nuclear projects in Asia, North America, and Europe. In this capacity, he has provided strategic guidance on project execution, risk mitigation, and stakeholder management to help ensure the successful development of new nuclear infrastructure.

Previously, as Vice President and Manager for Power Generation Project Development, Steve led initiatives across a diverse portfolio of energy projects, including nuclear, gas, coal, and renewables. His deep knowledge of the energy sector and his ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams have made him a highly sought-after leader for energy infrastructure development.

Steve's career began with the U.S. Navy Nuclear Program, where he served on submarines and was involved in the commissioning of commercial nuclear facilities. His early experience in the Navy provided him with a strong foundation in nuclear operations and safety, which has been pivotal to his successful transition into the civilian energy sector.
